I like the Avengers - not the greatest film in the world. So its not Schindler's list but hey it's not Sleepless in Seattle (bored the pants off me)or Titanic(factually inacurate and dull as ditch water) Its a send up not a serious thing. I actually found it a bit unerving the first time I saw it but thats alittle difficult to explain why to anyone who didn't grow up in britain in the late 70's early 80's and then even to some people who did.
