Roger Moore is not that incompetent as an Actor. Remember he was once the highest paid Brit actor.
Roger Moore's version of Bond is the best there ever will be, not Sean Connery's, I mean most people don't realize that Moore is 3 year older than Sean, and looks much more a debonair, clever spy. Roger was born for this role!
With the type of Bond films coming out these days, AVTAK is a classic Bond Film.
ALso take a good listen to the Bond theme song done by Duran Duran, the best Bond song ever done. The music video for this song is one of the reasons why AVTAK is remembered.
