when I read Beast's remarks about Dan Hill's "Sometimes When We Touch" ....LMAO
Here's a few more beauties: (mostly overplayed "Pop" tunes)
Butterfly Kisses - I think I'm gonna heave......puhleeeze
Truly, Madly, Deeply - ALRIGHT ALREADY......yeah, yeah...so we all know the depths of your love....SHADDUP already
Still the One - Shania Twain's horribly boring crossover hit (but she gets a ton of bonus points for been so damn good looking - damn her.....)
Any song ever done by Gordon Lightfoot, especially "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitgerald" Yeah, this one will make you wish Gordon went down with the ship......
What's a little scary about annoying songs is that they sometimes can be guilty pleasures. For example "Jump, Jive and Wail" by Brian Setzer is overplayed, but I can't help but start kicking up my feet when I hear it. I know Swing isn't some people's thing, but damn if it doesn't make you smile and laugh when you dance to it (IF, of course you CAN dance to it....)
And Lionel, I'm not a Beastie Boys fan, but I can't help myself when "Intergalactic" comes on.....I start hip hoppin in my kitchen (where several of my cable stereo speakers are located - it enables me to dance and cook at the same time.....)
- always prepared to shake my groove thang (AND I play a mean air guitar....and air percussion too)
Godmother
*****BOTTOMSIES - Just kidding*******
