Where are you going to school? Here at Penn State there are several co-ed dorms, but there's always a barrier between the genders (either the genders are on seperate, alternating floors, or the genders are seperated by a set of doors, usually propped open, between two connected wings), but nobody has the opposite sex just across the hall.
A friend of mine went to college somewhere in Maryland (I forget the school) and his dorm was totally co-ed, even the bathrooms were co-ed. This combined with the fact that he was living an a dorm of English majors, artists, etc., and with the college itself being the sort of small liberal college that gives X-man nightmares - he made the place sound like the set of Caligula. But then, he was kinda uptight about such things; it probably wasn't as bad (if that's te word) as he made it out to be.
I didn't mean like vicious pranks, I meant like fun pranks.
It occured to me that, in the event of a blackout, you could even still listen to music if you wanted, if you found yourself an old Victrola.
Just about anything by candlelight sounds nice.
