The sports team in the city in GTA3 is named the "Liberty City Cockrels" or just "The Cocks" for short. If you walk around the stadium on Staunton Island, you can hear people shouting "Go Cocks!" and "Are you a Beavers Fan?" - the Beavers presumably being the Cocks' arch-rival team. ;]
