scenario: good friend getting married this weekend (his third). group of his female friends went out to dinner, various comments: - not going to wedding, will "catch his next one" -(me, carmela) how can he get married again so quickly, isn't it supposed to be forever, i never want to get divorced, blah blah - carmela has commitment issues that's why she hasn't gotten married blah blah. anyone can get married, all you need is the money for the certificate - it is easy to get married, it is hard to have a good relationship in/out of marriage - he's getting married because he's never been on his own, w/ out a woman - everyone is married, some stay in unhappy marriages because they are too scared or cowardly to be on their own - some people get married for the wrong reasons - "misery loves company"? - only a few people have good marriges, all the rest just pretend - there is no reason to get married nowadays, unless you are planning to have children blah blah - sometimes things just don't work out, you need to know when to let go - people do not try at saving their marriages
