I'd only add that I think there are some of us who aren't really cut out for that kind of commitment. I have had some good relationships, I have had some bad relationships, including one really bad one recently. But I've never felt the urge or the need to settle down with someone. I don't think I ever will. Then again, I don't believe "love" is really an honest concept anyway. Sex is real, friendship can be (but rarely is) real. But love? No way.
