Pictures like those never wake up the American public to what they've done. It only hardens their resolve to fight with even less morals against the enemies.
This was driven home when the first casualities of the war were being reported and one of the fathers of the dead said:
"We need to take the gloves off. We need to give them hell."
As if hitting Baghdad with hundreds of cruise missiles wasn't already taking off the gloves.
