04/03/03: I'm not really a fan of those categories...

I don't really like simulation or strategy games. Things like Warcraft III hold my attention for a short period of time and then quickly fad from my radar.

And I'm really not interested in the RPGs that the computer has to offer. I watched my friend play Dungeon Seige for about an hour and I couldn't imagine anything more boring. Until I saw him play Neverwinter Nights and then I could.

Also, a big draw of the PC gaming market is the online gaming, which I would never do. As I stated to my friend the other day, PC gamers seem to take more pride in finding ways to cheat at the game than in actually playing the game. Ever good game WCIII, Tribes 2, Counter-strike, etc. all have too many cheaters.

My favorite genres are racing, action/adventure and sports all of which are better on a console. The only FPS I really play on the console is Halo although I have to admit that I would much rather have played Ghost Recon on a PC.

But right now sitting on my shelf at home I have:

Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Zelda: Wind Waker
Activision Classics
World Racing
Winning Eleven 6
SEGA NHL 2K3
Project Gotham Racing

All of which I need to finish, plus I have Tenchu 3, Skies of Arcadia, Rogue Squadron II, Apex and Indiana Jones all to look into, not counting Pro Race Driver on the 16th, Tomb Raider on the 22nd, then the new Matrix game, Rent-A- Hero and Brute Force next month.

Only one or two of which are on the PC. Take into account the time I spend doing stuff other than gaming and I really just don't need a PC.
