Back in the late 80s when the flag desecration law was struck down by the Supreme Court, the conservatives were livid and wouldn't stop screaming about it. One day Trudeau just printed a huge American Flag in his space, and proposed a question to his readers--he started out by saying (according to X section of the law) everyone had to be careful not to spill coffee on that section of the paper, or to use the paper to line a birdcage, or to start a fire in their fireplace....and it went on until basically he said according to the law they couldn't throw out that newspaper page and had to keep it forever in good condition. It was hilarious.
