Looking around for the sizes of some planets and moons, I found on a page devoted to Pluto that generally anything bigger than 400km in diameter pulls itself into a spherical shape. So the 'Texas-sized' asteroid in Armageddon (what was it's name, BTW?) should not have been so irregularly shaped.
Also, Pluto is thought to be from 2200-2400 km in diameter, which makes it around the size of Texas, esp. if you measure at it's widest points. And many true moons are much smaller.
