Deep Impact was okay, but Armagedon was just lame. Those people have no knowledge of astrophysics whatsoever, and they're writing movies on it. If a real asteroid (comet, whatever) was headed towards the earth we would set off a nuclear bomb next to it. The impact would nudge the object away so it would simply fly by earth. Also, there is no sound in space. They couldn't have heard each other talking out there, there's no medium! I really hated that movie.
