With that qualification on the table, let me say this to Michelle:
Preliminary stuff:
1. Does this sexist bozo know who you are? Specifically, does he know your name and address? If the answer to those questions is "NO," then he is bullshitting you, for he would have to serve you with a summons and complaint to make his damn lawsuit any good. Courts are leery of accepting suits against "the 8.5 out of ten babe with the small tits." (Forgive me, but I'm just quoting you quoting him.)
2. If you have witnesses to the provocations, then even if he does know who you are, he's dead meat legally.
3. Ask yourself whether you would really want to sue him, or whether the punch was enough. Don't fall prey to the temptation of suing him unless he actually does sue you; if he does, be ready to contemplate a mutual dropping of lawsuits as the way to end it.
Main event stuff:
1. Line up witnesses to what happened -- to the remarks as well as the pinch, if possible.
2. Once you have that, get a lawyer (if need be, go to one of the Jacoby and Meyers offices; they're OK) and lay out what happened and the claimed threat of suit, and ask about countersuits, etc.
3. DON'T WORRY.
