My second grade teacher knew I was bored and used to give me the Ramona books to read. She stopped after she realized I was reading Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights under my desk.
I read Gone With the Wind in one sitting; I adored it so much. I must have been around 6th or 7th grade. That's one I need to reread.
