While the quote about them changing Darrins may be mean, it is also incredibly unoriginal. The 1986 Movie "The Whoopee Boys" made an incredibly similar comment...
Paul Rodriguez's character is talking to Taylor Negron's and they have the following exchange:
Taylor: It was incomprehensible to me at the time that they could change Darrens on Bewitched like that.
Paul: Thats right! thats right ! First there was Dick York and then it was Dick Sargent!
Taylor: You just dont change Dicks mid stream
