I have always felt he did his best "acting" in the serious roles - at least those gave him a chance to pretend to be an actor. But as a funnyman he is just....well, a stand- up comic on screen. His acting "ability" is transparent in every way except ease in front of the camera. He has become, sadly, utterly predictable.
