I guess the song is OK; it's funny, anyway. But what the hell does the video have to do with the song? I can't for the life of me see a connection.
It reminds me of the old Wayne's World sketch about the Meat Loaf video. "I mean, the director probably said, 'Hey Meat, I've got a concept. Let's put you in monster makeup in a castle during a rainstorm with a pretty girl and we'll have stuff levitate and some guy will drive a motorcycle through the wall.' And Meat Loaf goes, 'You know, that's perfect, because that's exactly what I was thinking of when I wrote the song'." [not verbatim-- years have passed since I last saw this]
I don't necessarily think videos have to illustrate the story of the song exactly, that's usually boring, but what the hell is going on in this video? Did they board a spaceship because they were so sick of dealing with the scrubs or what?
BTW, has anyone heard the parody of this song, "No Pigeons", which is supposed to be the male response to their message? I heard part of it on the radio and missed the name of the group/artist.
