Well, of course he is a replicant. But, i wonder if old Ridley had to suffer a couple of rewrites. You know, dampen the PKD paranoia, amplify the shooty shooty.
Was the sublty(sp?) intentional, or a result from pressure on high to dumb it down?
After all, its easier to sell a movie if its Star Wars than if its Man in the High Castle (title?).
