In the book, the making of the film, their is an interview with Ridly Scott, the director, and he is asked if Dekard is a replicant. He says no. It is a myth, like Strwberry Fields by the beatles is about LSD or I can see for miles by the Who is about Speed and Cocaine...... .......Sorry about the shite 1967 hippie 'music' choices.....
