First thing, I agree that Blade IS one of the if not THE best film ever made.
It has so many diffent layers. First it is about the question, what is human. Second it is a simple love story about Deckard and Rachel. It is also a postmodern masterpiece, which redefined a genre.
Any one who likes this film should read more Philip K. Dick, one of the best sci-fi writers of all time.
