Since I successfully managed to avoid this piece of shit in the theater, I rented it this week on tape. This was after I'd goptten an email from Artisan with the tantalizing header "What is the secret of Esrever?" Now, if you can't figure out that "Esrever" is "Reverse" spelled backwards, you deserve to lose $8.00 fucking dollars to the the hacks that made this shit movie.
The big "secret" at theend of the movie is that they play back a few scenes claiming that some "supernatural" stuff is evident in the footage, like the locks on a bunch of small lockers "rearranging" themselves into the shape of a pentagram in the middle of a pan. For the millions of you out there that have no idea what CGI is and does, I'm sure all of these secrets will be mystifying.
I believe there's a little more crap like that in there in addition to some letters flashing in the lower right hand corner during the "secret" parts. When you play the tape in reverse, it supposedly spells out the places in the movie where you can see more of this bullshit. I didn't bother with any of this, since it was obviously all made up to sell this cinematic excrement.
