If you want to see a movie that actually excels on any creative level and still delivers solid chills, check out the original "The Haunting," or even George C. Scott's "The Changeling." All of the scares, none of the Marilyn Manson, and, hey, you won't look like a goddamn Down-Syndrome victim by recommending it!
