I could almost say the movie wasn't that bad if I had the answers to the following questions: 1) What the fuck was the Book of Shadows, and why was it in the title if it wasn't going tobe in the movie? 2) What the fuck WAS the Secret of Eserver? I watched that damned video backward, forward and sideways, and i found all of the images and words they were talking about. The words I found were: "no" "or" and "further" (not in that order). What the fuck is that? Who's Eserver? Why does he have a secret? What does it have to do w/ the fucking movie? Why? Why? Why? 3) Did they do that stuff on the videos? Were they crazy? Or did the BW or whatever "change" the tapes? 4) Why did the trailers say that one of the people in the movie had a secret and, like, knew what was going on? Who the hell was it? What did they know? Why did the trailer, the title, ALL of the advertising COMPLETELY LIE? And can I sue? 5) What was that one dude in the asylum for? Why didn't they tell us? I figure it was SUPPOSED to have something to do w/ everything. 6) Why does this movie have absolutely nothing to do with the original? We don't even know if the BW had anything to do w/ what happened in this movie. No idea. We aren't even supposed to believe that it has anything to do w/ it. So why associate it? 7) Finally, and most importantly: Why does this movie have no ending? I mean, why, just when you think, "Okay, this is interesting. How are they going to get out of the police station and figure out what's going on?" the credits roll. I would have liked some kind of fucking conclusion. That's what I put my $$$ down for - the part where you figure out the bad guy and the score gets settled, either way. That's the climax- the rush. What a gyp.
