By now aren't we all resigned to the fact that contrary to all evidence evil never wins? Well in films at least. I quite enjoyed this film. Just for the sheer cheesiness of it, well that and Rufus.
I could say the ominous shots of 'that gargoyle' were the best and most hilarious bits in the film. But no, there is a better bit for me...
We're all relived that Cody stopped that poor homeless guy from killing himself. When evil Rufus tosses his lighter over his shoulder and we hear the sound of igniting petrol. Hurrah! Don't you just love the smell of burning flesh? That made the movie for me. Anyone who thought that was sad is going to heaven. And they deserve it. The boredom you get in heaven had got to be worse then the excitement you get in hell.*
*Anyone know what book that quotes is indirectly from?
