Gentleman, what we are concerned about is GLOBAL warming not UNITED STATES OF AMERICA warming. The date in question was for the U.S. only and did not significantly affect world numbers.

Limbaugh disingenuously and ignorantly misinterpreted the date for his science-challenged ditto-heads (Hello, X-man). This isn't just me echoing Al Franken's saying that the easiest job in thw world is being Limbaugh's fact checker (Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot), but is fact. As it turned out, the effect of the data correction on GLOBAL climate change was ONE-ONE-THOUSANTH of a degree.

Now I can just see grundle with his little feet doing a happy dance as he's just about to wet himself waiting to post his bullshit about the stratosphere and/or the troposphere actually getting cooler not warmer, which he interprets to mean there is no global warming. Well, it took me all of 49 seconds to find out why this is happening. Surprise! It doesn't contradict the observation of global warming, it reinforces it.

Whoa! I guess the crew over at NOAA didn't get the Bush Administration memo entitled "Ixnay on Global Warming." I take it the concept of a "blanketing effect" is new to grundle. But he needn't thank me. It was a pleasure to have helping him further his knowledge of global warming.
