I beg to differ with you about Braveheart. You have to realize that the script writers might not have had a lot to work with considering how long ago this happened. I, being a guy, was really impressed by the realism of the battle scenes. War is not pretty no matter when or where it is. As for the plot, my only downer was the strange relationship between the princess and Wallace (Gibson). I think the director got across what he wanted to; that history doesn't always tell the facts.
