So that those who somehow have a poor opinion of this movie don't think that I'm blind to what negative aspects there are, I have to admit that there are some things that don't quite work or that seem kind of strange (like the mooning thing; Wallace's relationship with the princess with no questions of loyalty/disloyalty to his wife, of whom he was periodically seeing visions; and an Irish exile secretly convincing an Irish army to turn on the British who were paying them). But if you put the good and bad elements of Braveheart on a balance, it would fall so quickly toward the positive side that the negative aspects would be launched about a hundred yards into the air. I also must admit that this is not a movie to see after midnight as a middle-school-aged kid (as I first saw it); but what movie with a plot and with explosions less frequent than every 20 seconds is?

I think that four posts since February (not counting mine), and only half of those positive, is an insult to this movie. It deserves much more than this, even if it is several years old (if I saw it in middle school, then it must be at least...7 years old, no later than early '93, right?). If you like this movie, help give it what it deserves, and post why you like it.
