06/03/00: fight scene at medieval times

Posted By: eray

As far as the "episode in a "Medieval Times" restaurant that drags on forever," I'm sure any Star Trek fan, or anybody close enough to a really avid fan to have been forced to watch episodes (I being the former, but not a very knowledgable or in-depth one, having access to the episodes of the original series only when a station would decide to play them), was ROFL. It's an excellent parody of the fight scene between Kirk and Spock in that episode (I don't know episode names, except "The Trouble With Tribbles") where Spock goes into heat or whatever (I forget what it's called...would a real fan help me out here? Whatever it is, it sounds a lot better than going into heat) and has to find a mate or die. Cable Guy even uses similar weapons, and Jim Carrey sings that wierd music they used for half their fight scenes. I, for one, thought this was a very funny scene, and not one that drags on forever.
