I hadn't heard anything about a Chris Cooper nomination since "Seabiscuit" came out, so that's surprising, yet it isn't.

You're right -- what the hell is Hughes doing in "Supporting"? The rest of those are inline with expectations (though no Harden and no Davis -- no "American Splendor" anywhere).
"In America" gets an ensemble nomination and no individuals? That was to be expected with "ROTK," of course. More peculiar is "Station Agent's" strong support from the SAG. Not that *I* have a problem with that...
