You are correct about our boys being influential peace keepers, in the last half century, Cyprus comes quickly to mind as one of our long term projects. But more and more canadians are seeing this as a waste of money and effort. Who are we to impose on a Tutsi slaughter. Who are we to decide ethnic Albanians can't be slaughtered. Are we moraly superior yes, in our own eyes. Will history judge us for our efforts in Kuwait as we judge the zulus or the serbs. All Im saying is..is that wars happen. And we don't have the money or the people to stop them. You make a valid point about the american's dragging their feet..but so what. Its their army they can do as they please. Our own army is underfunded, understaffed and has horrible moral. Time to turn our focus within. I feel bad for our general and his nervous breakdown, but would have rather sent the Airborne Unit, and had them kill a bunch of people? Im rambling...but we're as bad as the americans. They pick and chose which conflicts to enter their armies and we do the same with our morale fighters, and its all politics.
