What is all the negative publicity this movie has got? I have seen it 10-12 times. All these other movies I've seen that are so popular (any Kevin Smith film, Half Baked, Dazed and Confused, Hannibal, O Brother Where Art Thou, to name a few of hundreds, I would never sit through again) get so much praise for not being entertaining and not making you laugh, and then a light comedy like this comes along with plenty of laughs, and it gets nothing but insults. This is not the best movie of all time, but it was supposed to entertain and provide laughs, which it definately did. The supporting cast was not bad, but the Tom Arnold was responsible for all the laughs. He is such an underrated and under-appreciated actor that it is a shame. He had another film that got the same type of insults "Big Bully" and that was the same likable entertainment like this. Who wants to watch a movie where pathetic losers like Jay and Silent Bob just keep saying fuck and shit and motherfucker among others? It is a major headache and those movies should be trashed and get Razzie Awards. Comments for those movies are great, when they do not make you laugh in enjoyment, but give you a headache. Maybe someday this movie will get the recognition it deserves-- "Carpool" is one ride I will enjoy taking again and again.
