trying to write a bad review of Casablanca -- why waste your time? There are SOOO many bad movies out there to rant about! Listening to your interview at Wired made me think your big beef was with current Hollywood crap. Does this extend to the old classics, too? Maybe you could explain that sometime. I think your reasons would have to be different than what is wrong with Hollywood today.
Now I got that most of your review was supposed to be humor, but as for the papers of transit -- I guess you don't know much about german burocracy! As for getting the ending right by luck -- what's wrong with that?
Is Casablanca overrated? probably. Is it the one-bomb you rated it as? I know this is your highest rating, but I don't think it even deserves to be rated on that scale.
Alright, time to get back to talking about movies that are actually bad!
