The trick with discussing anything about psychology or the other social sciences is that one can only discuss trends, not absolutes. In other words, I know some born again people who have no history of mental health disorders, but the overwhelming amount that I have met do proudly admit to a mental health disorder (which includes addictions, by the way). This is something I have sampled in different countries and different regions of the US.
To beat a dead horse: born again does not equal mental health case, but many of them are, more than the regular population.
Of couse, 1 in 4 or 5 people in the US have a mental health disorder.
