Does anyone here remember a childhood spent in the arcade playing GALAGA?
I have played a version of Galaga before on my Sega Game Gear. I didn't like the game very much, as the graphics weren't as superior as, say, the Lion King game or the Power Rangers game, not to mention that I found Galaga to be very difficult compared to the other aforementioned games. I was unfortunate enough to have never played the original Galaga in the arcade, on the big screen, in all its glory. By the time I was old enough to go to the arcades, they were mostly filled with street-fighter type games and first-person shooter games, with graphics that could rival the cartoons on television, all of which I loved very much, of course.
Ah, curse me for being a child of the nineties. I missed out on a lot of great things.
