It's not the governments job to take care of able-bodied people. Everything that happened to you you did to yourself. A lot of homeless people don't truly want to not be homeless, everyone knows that. It's funny how you never went on welfare, yet you're talking about how great it is. You should have posted this in the thread below instead of here. Corporate welfare is bad too, but you have to understand the government is HUGE and sooner or later gives money to everybody. That's why I don't like it. If you're pro huge government, and apparantly you are, you should expect that. You can't have it both ways. Maybe one day the pathetic mentality expressed on this board will change (i.e. Wah, the government has to take care of me, Wah), and America will be a great country again.
