The case that you mentioned was different from the one that I mentioned. However, I have read many cases involving hair braiders from different areas of the country that were similar to the one that I mentioned. In all of the cases that I had read about, the only people who had any complaints (besides the government regulators) were the owners of the more expensive, licensed hair salons, who simply did not want to have to compete against their less expensive competition.
