I"m not sure if you American folk realise but The Castle was released a full year before you folks got to retch at it. I guess Australian technology as it is, it took roughly a year for us to get it over to the States somehow. I don't think Mr Cranky tore it up enough. Even with the benefits of living in Australia, understanding all the "cultural jokes" (such as they were) and knowing that the movie was based on real life events that occurred around a Sydney airport, it was still unmitigated garbarge that made me want to puke. You folks in the United States should start churning out even more bad movies because god knows I would rather watch something bad made over their as opposed to something bad made over here
