But it's probably a common fantasy in the late teens, when you realize that all the positions of authority you have to spend time and money to get are mainly acts that can be quickly learned. But you're supposed to keep going to school until you're old enough to forget that, and owe enough money that you spend more time worrying about bills. It's vital to the economy.
