but I suspect that that is one of those movies about which there can be no mutuality between two peoplel who disagree over it: negative reviews of it I've read don't even seem to be of the same movie I watched. So, let it be, says I.
What is memorable about these supposed "great" Ridley Scott movies? Blade Runner is, first and foremost, a triumph of special effects and visual design, two things that Ridley had little to do with. Aliens is a haunted house movie in space with one singularly arresting scene. Black Hawk Down was nothing special.
