...you'd be hardpressed to find a Crankylander besides yourself who knows the name of a single screenplay writer (besides those who also direct or act and are more famous for the latter). We just don't get NO RESPECT in Hollywood...
I'd probably go with Andrew Kevin Walker, though -- pretty much everything he's written since "Seven" was quite weak. Tom Stoppard gets way too much credit for a guy who only wrote "Shakespeare in Love." Well, in the film world, anyway.
