12/26/02: Saw this yesterday.

Fun, if a bit slight. The cast does a uniformly good job, and Spielberg is in top form here. The biggest problems are naturally script-related...20-30 minutes could have easily been pared away for a tighter, faster movie. It probably won't win any awards, and despite Cranky's predictions, I don't think this is enough of a crowd-pleaser to set the box office on fire, but it's definitely a pleasing and occasionally funny diversion. The Jennifer Garner scene alone makes it worth seeing....
