They needed to raise some money to make some much needed repairs on their buildings and facilities. They came up with the idea of a fish and chip stand because that was the favorite meal of all involved and the two brothers who regularly prepared it were well up to the task. The first week they were open, some smartass dude walks up to the stand and asks one of the brothers, "Are you the fish friar?"
The brother raised one eyebrow and replied, "No, I'm the chip monk."
