..."Privateer 2" is a game that has, despite the fact that i could never make it far past meeting Chris Walken due to the "Hang" bug, a game that i've always remembered fondly.. Heck, i think, despite that stupid bug, it's still among my top 5 favourite games ever..
Well, i own the regular DOS version of the game, right?
Well, the other day..I'm cruising Ebay and what do i run across? The DELUXE version of the game for WINDOWS...(which i do remember seeing on store shelves, waaaay back when, but at the time, i just thought "pah, windows.. Who needs that? DOS WILL NEVER DIE!")
At any rate, i blacked out, and when i came to, i had won an insane bidding war for the stupid game...( and my opponent was some GIRL.. A GIRL playing "Privateer 2".. What an age we live in! :P)
At any rate, the game is being shipped to me via priority mail, so i should have it by today or tomorrow..
I may FINALLY find out what the big secret was (yes, i know you told me what it was, but i think i've successfully purged it from my mind :P)
