Yep, John Rogers, the guy who went to college for 5 years to earn a degree in physics and seems to have promptly forgotten it all to write that stupid sci-fi "epic" (which at least gave DJ Qualls something else to put on his resume,) wrote the screenplay for this garbage.

John, your career is calling you. It evidently doesn't involve writing, though.
