I don't read comics so I don't really care how much this script may "stray" (Ha ha! Get it? Stray!) from the comic book, because I've never read the comic. I do however believe that the first Batman movie, with Michael Keaton, was one of the best comic movies ever done, and the follow- up with Michelle Phfiephfffpher was okay. Plus I'm sure everyone has had the unpleasurable experience of being exposed to the old Batman series with Adam West and friends. This series also featured a Catwoman. I think that seeing this, it is safe to say that even though most people wouldn't relize the movie was nothing like the comic, the general public would certainly say something like, "Hey, where's the part about Batman?" I didn't see this movie but I'm guessing form the reviews that there's no place in the movie for Batman. This is a mistake that I wouldn't expect Marvel to overlook. If there is a mentioning of Batman in this movie I stand corrected, but I'm still not watching it.
