Halle returns from boarding school back east to find evil ranchers and hired gunmen trying to steal her father's land. She dons a leather costume, teams up with a has-been drunk gunfighter (Ashton Kurcher -- in a breakthrough role), and robs every bank in the state. They try to hang her, but she has nine lives, so her crime spree continues unabated. Hilarity ensues.
