"And if pi is in between 2 and 4 -how come there aren't any other number exactly like it inbetween 1 and 2 or 3 and 4, or so on that just begins with a different number. understand what i'm saying? wouldnt' there be a number that goes on like 4.141592..and so on and so on like pi?"
Actually, there is an infinite number of numbers between 1 and 2 that are non-repeating decimals that have no pattern and go on forever. One example is the square root of 3. Another example is pi minus 2.
