Is that a legal thing? Financial reason? Cause that would explain a lot, really.
You know, I was worried about a lot of this up until the point where I saw the Daily Show yesterday. Okay, yes, Bush has the momentum and Kerry still has time for a Dukakisian loss, but the entire freaking administration is still losing its mind. And where has the Bush bump come from? A stunning victory in domestic or foreign plans? The bold, clear new plan Bush has the future? No, it comes from some particularly effective but nonetheless easily refuted liars and nutbags digging at the same war everyone's sick of hearing about and a wasted Convention dedicated almost entirely to Bashing the opposition. These are not the elements of a permanent, glorious victory.
