It's going to be a disaster of the first order for the Illinois GOP. They really should have nominated the doctor - I forget her name - that had served in the Bush Admin. Let's face it, Obama was unbeatable anyway. But at least the sacrificial lamb would have been a native Chicagoan. The "import-a-candidate" strategy makes the Ill. GOP look crass, out of touch, and maybe a little condescending. Bad, bad move.
