So I'm in my local video store, looking around, and trying to figure out exactly what movie I should be watching. And as I'm sifting through the comedy section, I actually found Chairman Of The Board on DVD.
After a viewing (which I deserve a god-damned award for) I've made note of two things:
1) There is a worse movie out there than 'It's Pat!' and 2) How can this be on DVD, and not the Godfather Trilogy (but thankfully that should be fixed by the end of the year)
There was not even ONE moment where I smiled at all.
You know, I've never really respected Carrot Top, but I'll give him this: his prop humor is something that most come up with at least once in their life, but at least he was smart enough to get on stage and make money off of it. So I always assumed that there was at least a mildly witty person behind that gimmick-hair.
After seeing this movie, I realize I was obviously mistaken.
Despite my dreams of going to Hollywood, and making a movie, I don't care if the SKG boys themselves called me up personally and gave me this script, I would have said NO. Moving to hollywood and making a movie that would absolutely destroy my dignity couldn't possibly be any better than the way my life is now.
Sweet Zombie Jesus, this movie was just bad.
